Terms & Conditions

Kind Pet Club: My Terms of Service

Effective Date: March 2026

These Terms of Service form the basis of the agreement between you (the “Owner”) and me, Isabella, operating as Kind Pet Club. By booking a walk, drop-in, or house sitting session, you confirm that you have read and agreed to these terms.

1. My Commitment to You

I agree to provide dog walking and pet care services in a dependable, caring, and trustworthy manner. In exchange for these services, you agree to waive and release me from any and all claims, except those arising from my own proven negligence or willful misconduct.

2. Payment & Rates

  • When to pay: Payment is due at or before the start of my services unless we have agreed on a different schedule (such as weekly invoicing).
  • Rates: My standard rates are £10 for 30-minute walks, £12 for drop-ins, and £35 for overnight stays. Any “extras” we’ve discussed (like bank holidays or extra pets) will be added to the total.

3. Total Flexibility Cancellation Policy

I know that life can be unpredictable! I want our partnership to be stress-free.

  • If you need to cancel: You can cancel or reschedule at any time. I do not charge a same-day cancellation fee.
  • If I need to cancel: If I am unwell or have an emergency, I will let you know as soon as possible. You will never be charged for a session I cannot attend.
  • Ending our agreement: I reserve the right to stop providing services if I feel a pet poses a danger to me or itself.

4. Health, Safety, & Behavior

  • Vaccinations: You represent that your pet is in good health and up to date on all vaccinations (including Kennel Cough for dogs) and flea/worm treatments.
  • Walk Safety: All dogs must wear a secure collar or harness with ID tags. I am not responsible for lost or damaged equipment (leads, collars, etc.) provided by you.
  • Honesty about Behavior: You confirm that your pet has not shown aggression or threatening behaviour toward people or other animals.

5. Veterinary Care & Emergencies

If an emergency happens while your pet is in my care, I will:

  1. Contact you immediately.
  2. Transport your pet to the nearest available vet if urgent care is required.
  3. Act in the best interest of your pet if I cannot reach you. You agree to reimburse any veterinary fees or costs unless the emergency was caused by my direct negligence.

6. Home Access & Security

  • Entering your home: This agreement gives me permission to enter your home at the agreed times to care for your pets.
  • Security: You agree to secure the home before you leave. I will re-secure the home to the best of my ability (locking doors/windows as instructed) when I leave.
  • Third Parties: I cannot be held responsible for home security or damage if other people (like cleaners or family members) have access to the property while I am providing services.

7. Weather & Safety

Your pet’s safety is my priority. In the case of extreme heat (usually above 28°C) or dangerous storms, I may adjust our walk to a shorter “toilet break” and spend the remaining time playing with them indoors where it’s safe.

8. Photos & Social Media

I love taking “pupdates”! You give me permission to use photos of your pets on my website and social media. These photos remain the property of Kind Pet Club. If you would prefer I don’t post your pet online, just let me know!

9. New Pets

These terms apply to all current pets and any new furry friends you might add to the family in the future.
